"Share my activity in spotify" slider always disabled?

Hey guys,

so by accident i found out, that desktop, iOS and Android settings for the spotify app are always different for my account. I want to share my activity for the friends feed, but in the desktop app the slider constantly stays disabled (after app is restarted). In Android, I dont even have this slider under the social tab and in iOS the slider is green. Actually I dont know whether my music gets shared now or not.

Anyone with some intel on that? And maybe an idea why i can't change activity options on desktop app?
