Hi.
Spotify started pausing constantly for me while using my keyboard buttons - gaming, typing this post even. And it happens with every button I press randomly. Is there any way to disable that? Fresh reinstall didn't work either.
Edit: Started pausing even if I'm not pressing anything, but more rarely. When I'm writing something it pauses and resumes non stop.
Also, I couldn't find any solutions here on the forums, I'm using Windows 7. Also, I've had Spotify before - maybe 1 year earlier before I stopped using it and I never had problems. Now I installed it 2 days ago and it pauses non stop.
Hi @szeth, welcome to the community.
In your desktop app, please go to the top right, choose Account, scroll down and click on Sign Out Everywhere.
Then log back on and let me know if it works for you!
Ok,
Have you tried unchecking High Quality under Spotify Preferences? This was the cause of some users who went through this.
That sounds really weird. I just can't figure out the cause. But my guess is something related to your Windows 7.
I suggest you get in touch with the customer services team directly using the online contact form and they will be able to assist you with this.
You can also Tweet / DM @SpotifyCares.
If you get an automated email reply back directing you to the community or help pages, you need to reply directly to that email (even if its from no-reply email address) and one of the customer services agents will get back to you as soon as possible. Give it 24 to 48hrs, also make sure you're checking your Spam/Junk folder because sometimes emails might end up there.
Good luck, and let me know if I can help you with anything else 🙂
