My Question or Issue
my spotify playlist is working but when i search for something or when im on home page, it says you are offline, but my laptop has internet connection, what is the issue, how can i solve it? help pls
You sure that offline mode is closed and connection is working? If those are working try a clean reinstall
i did what you said but still same
Hey @busrakucuk,
Thank you for reaching out here in the Community.
We'd suggest that you try to disable hardware acceleration in the app. Go to Settings > Compatibility > toggle off "Enable hardware acceleration" option then restart Spotify.
It's also a good idea to delete your prefs file. Follow the steps below.
Note that you'll be logged out and your settings will be reset, so you'll have to adjust them again. If you had music downloaded for offline listening, you'll have to re-download it as well. Your library, however, will not be affected, so no worries there.
If none of the above solutions work, would you mind asking a friend or a family member to log in on your device to see if the app behaves the same way?
Hope this helps. Let us know how it goes.

Spotify for Windows (64 bit)

The app thinks I'm offline when there is clearly network connectivity. The app shows the "You're Offline" message on the home screen while playing non-cached music. Logging into the web UX shows the banner at the bottom indicating that my account is currently playing music on my Windows 11 device. As does the iOS app. So, clearly the app on Windows is able to communicate with the Spotify backend but thinks it's in offline mode from a UX perspective. Toggling offline/online in Menu -> File has no effect. Restarting the app does. But this is a pain.
This appears to happen when Windows 11 wakes from sleep. This has been happening for months.
What's the deal? thanks
Same thing - there is no offline mode listed under playback - using desktop version on my laptop. Do I really need to reinstall - for about the 5th time - Spotify?
