spotify says not availible while you're offline. i am connected to the internet and can still play my liked songs and liked playlists.
here is what i have tried:
restarting my PC
reinstalling spotify
uninstalling antivirus
checking if i'm in offline mode (i'm not)
disabling hardware acceleration
cleaning my PC with ccleaner
checking my wifi (i'm connected)
logging out and logging back in
good thing i can still access dj khaled's latest album though
thanks for the reply, yes it still says i am offline 95% of the time, the other 5 it doesnt say i'm offline but doesn't let me play any songs besides my liked songs (because of the fix i mentioned i tried a few posts above, a month ago..) it never works. i can't open albums/tracks/artist pages because it says im offline, i can't access anything. it's not usable. my sound drivers are updated, not sure how that would help though
Hi there @sdfsdfsdfaaa,
Thanks for keeping us posted in this and for all the info shared.
Since we couldn't replicate this issue on our end, the final process that we can suggest is a factory reset. This might fix some damaged processes that could be interfering with the proper connection with the app, but we know that this process will erase all data from your device, so it's optional if you want to do it. Make sure to have a secure copy of all your data in case you want to complete this process.
It's quite a bit of troubleshooting we've been through and we're at a point where the issue seems to be isolated to your computer. In that sense, it'd need help from Microsoft instead.
We're usually able to solve most common issues that the Spotify app might stumble upon due to some Windows settings, but this is turning out to be beyond our scope. We've located this guide with some steps that would help with getting your ethernet connection to work on a PC; we also recommend checking with Microsoft support for more detailed instructions and troubleshooting.
We appreciate your patience with this and all your cooperation.
Keep us in the loop on this!
1. it's not an isolated issue, i linked a post with the exact same problem i have way earlier. you can search for more too, they are there
2. my internet is 100% working fine, like i said before. i use my pc every day with no issues. i'm responding on it now?
3. right now, i'm not going to factory reset my pc
currently, my spotify is going back and fourth with working and not working. it does work sometimes now but usually goes back to not working.
yo, i had the same issue. what i did was i went to the control panel, uninstalled spotify. went to their website and downloaded a fresh spotifysetup and it worked? try doing that and if u did try doing it again
update : now i can't play anymore **bleep**. my hypothesis is maybe cuz i downloaded too many songs? i literally downloaded 370 taylor swift songs and many more. i will update if i managed to fix it
i couldn't play any songs and when i right click the playlist it only says "unpin playlist" but if you actually go to the playlist and press play beside the album's picture you can actually play and its fixed. But i still don't know why issues like that occur
I am just here to say that i am having the same issue since two weeks now
I am here to say that I have the same issue as well. Just deleted using windows "add, remove..." and installed from the web. It did not fix the problem. Please fix this asap
dunno if ur still having this issue, but this worked for me and others. https://www.reddit.com/r/spotify/comments/f5ejys/fix_for_no_internet_connection_in_windows_10/
