spotify wont update

the spotify app wont update ever since i updated to windows 11, im still stuck on the old version.

i even tried to update from the microsoft store but no use.

ill be happy if any1 solves this issue

Even if Windows 11 is still a brand new version that might not be fully optimized, it has its regular updates because it's still the same desktop app. This type of case is usually related to some damaged cache that might be affecting the proper behavior of the app.

First, we'd recommend performing a clean reinstall of the app by following the steps in this article. This is often an overlooked step, but it's more thorough than a quick one and can be helpful in getting rid of any cache that might be causing trouble.

If the issue persists, you can try downloading the desktop version of the app, but instead of using the Microsoft store to download it, you can do it directly from our Web page selecting the option "Current" under the Windows section.

Lastly, if you still have the issue, include in your next response the Spotify version you're currently running.
