won't play and scrolls songs

I just updated to version 1.0.42.151.g19de0aa6 and now spotify won't play anything. When I select play it just scrolls songs non-stop. 

I also receive a banner at the top saying "This song is not available. If you have the file on your computer you can import it."

 I'm running windows 10 and have already uninstalled and reinstalled the application.

Any help is appreciated.

I have the same problem after updating my windows 10 today. Everything appears to be there but it just will not play any selection whatsoever.

Mine ended up working itself out after a few hours. Never did find the cause.
