I love my playlists. I've added to my starred playlist for about two years now, and I always wonder what I'd do if my playlists were somehow wiped. So how about something that would rest my mind, the ability to back up your playlists to say, a text file containing all your songs, and then you can import your playlist if it somehow goes missing! This would be an ace feature as I see some people are having issues with duplicate accounts and their playlists being wiped.

This would also making sharing playlists between friends even easier!

TL;DR: Let us export our playlists to a text file, and then import our playlists whenever we like.

Since it unfortunately happens that tracks disappear from my playlist, I would like to have the option to back up my playlists. I would like to see an export function in various formats, PDF, txt, json. If the export can be nicely designed, so much the better.

Spotify previously had an option where a playlist could be selected and dragged into something like Excel. This provided a convenient way to backup not only playlist links but also artist/track information.

This option has long been removed. Is Spotify planning on giving users an option to backup artist/track information? Apple Music offers such an option.

I understand Spotify has a restore option for those who lose playlist/song data, but I have tried this personally and the playlist in question was not available to restore. Many users have invested countless years compiling their playlists, so it would be extremely helpful if Spotify could offer those users an option to preserve their playlists in the event they are unable to restore lost data.
