[All Platforms] Set Alarm to start Spotify

Just thought it would be nice to wake up to a good song.  Start the day off on a good beat.   Looked through my PC, and to my suprise there was no alarm clock!  What's the deal?  Would it not be nice to be able to set a time for the music to start?  Link a playlist, best of (maybe you're waiting for a song to come out?),   Incorporate a timer into the alarm clock too.  Would be cool.

For everyone wondering if this will be available on iOS, the answer is almost definitely no. Apple already has a feature where you can set your alarm to wake you up to Apple Music, and there is nothing that Apple loves more than making its features incompatible with its competitors.

Imagine setting an alarm in Spotify. For example, 6:30 AM and your favorite playlist or song starts playing automatically. A perfect way to wake up to music you love instead of a boring alarm sound. It’s like the opposite of a sleeping timer.

It would be great to have a preset time feature (like an alarm) and wake up to our favourite song at a preset time rather than listening to a normal alarm blaring into our ears.

Hi folks,

 

Just dropping by to let you all know that if you'd like to have a similar feature for iOS, then check out this idea. Despite the status being "Not Right Now", we still keep our eye on those, so if they gain enough traction, they will be in consideration again. So vote for it and share it around!
