[All Platforms] Sleep Timer

I am a new user to Spotify from NZ and the first thing I miss having moved from iphone's built in music player is the sleep timer. I understand this feature stopped working in one of the recent versions of spotify App. If it is a compatibility issue partly related to iOS 5, may I suggest that you build a sleep timer into the App itself? 

Also, as suggest by one other Spotify user, Nyx, it would be even better if you could include an alarm featuer so we can all wake up to our favourite playlists within Spotify.

Thanks again for all the great work you guys are doing and we really hope you would consider this new idea.

Update: The issue with sleep timer seems to be working in iOS 8.

Please take a look at TuneIn app, it has both of those features, Alarm and sleep timer. Comparable functionality in Spotify would be great!

Over 3354 customers want a built-in sleep timer....actually 3355 when you include me. Point of fact: many (if not all) baby boomers my age like to go to bed listening to their favorite tunes. Given that 'we' are the predominant (and fastest growing) demographic, I would have thought that this would have been addressed long ago. It just makes a lot of sense. Why have to pay to download music while your asleep?

There should be such an option as timer, for example; I wanna listen music before sleeping but I won't be able to close spotify if I'm asleep 🙂 so it'd be useful to update such an option for better service ^_^ good day

Its so stupid how this has still not become a feature.... even the most basic applications have this feature lol!!!!!! Dont become a once upon a time application spotify! Listen to the people! How many responses have you had on this topic already and over how many years saying its a much needed feature. The only reason i still have spotify is because it comes with my phone provider as part of the package deal... the day that stops may just be the day my subscription drops.

The only work-around I could find was to download a sleep timer from the
Google Play store. The one I recommend is named SLEEP TIMER, by Carecon.

This is the only solution available until Spotify decides to include a sleep
timer in a future update. I still can't believe they haven't addressed this
yet!

How's it coming along with a sleep timer and alarm clock, as I really don't like to leave my phone run all night and if I want to listen to music currently I use another music stream site... absolutely loving what you guys have accomplished this far.

Yes!! Please add a timer feature.. I love listening to spotify before bed. And hate when I fall asleep and wake up  at 3am with music still paying ...

Make the sleep timer not time-, but song-based (another five or ten songs) - that way it does not abruptly cut a song in half. I hate that, and I love a few good songs before going to sleep. Please follow up on the idea and put a team to it!
