[All Platforms] Sleep Timer

I am a new user to Spotify from NZ and the first thing I miss having moved from iphone's built in music player is the sleep timer. I understand this feature stopped working in one of the recent versions of spotify App. If it is a compatibility issue partly related to iOS 5, may I suggest that you build a sleep timer into the App itself? 

 

Also, as suggest by one other Spotify user, Nyx, it would be even better if you could include an alarm featuer so we can all wake up to our favourite playlists within Spotify.

 

Thanks again for all the great work you guys are doing and we really hope you would consider this new idea.

Update: The issue with sleep timer seems to be working in iOS 8.

Dear Spotify- if you fix the sleep mode feature you will save lots of money on bandwidth as I run mine all night long every night as I fall asleep to music. I really only need it on for max of 1 hour. And I bet I am not the only one...

In the meantime, there is an iphone app called Music Sleep Timer that shuts down Spotify after any specified amount of minutes. I just tried it and it does work currently.

Please put this simple function in! Iheartradio has it now too. Or at least fix it to work with iphone timer 🙂

Just tried using the iOS inbuilt sleep timer ( http://www.cultofmac.com/250508/fall-asleep-to-music-with-your-iphones-hidden-sleep-timer-ios-tips/ ) to no avail. The music fades out but immediately starts playing again. Anthony

Yes please include this!!! I agree with All the above posts relating to this topic. My other app relax and sleep has a built in timer, this app should too
