[All Platforms] Sleep Timer

I am a new user to Spotify from NZ and the first thing I miss having moved from iphone's built in music player is the sleep timer. I understand this feature stopped working in one of the recent versions of spotify App. If it is a compatibility issue partly related to iOS 5, may I suggest that you build a sleep timer into the App itself? 

Also, as suggest by one other Spotify user, Nyx, it would be even better if you could include an alarm featuer so we can all wake up to our favourite playlists within Spotify.

Thanks again for all the great work you guys are doing and we really hope you would consider this new idea.

Update: The issue with sleep timer seems to be working in iOS 8.

The feature is so important to so many people. Impressive that Spotify won't fix integration with apple sleep timer, won't put an explanation out there and won't create their own sleep functionality. If everyone rated then 1 star on iTunes with an additional comment of wishing a sleep timer instead of commenting here, I bet they would have fixed by now

Spotify is great but I have to use another service when listening to music while falling asleep; a sleep timer is essential.

Yes we definatly need this if you listen to a large playlist there's no way of stopping it say after 60 mins, it will just keep playing for hours. Which has to be bad for the Spotify servers so a sleep timer has to be good for them to.

relatively new user listen via desktop computer and I would love to, actually went looking thinking it would be a feature, be able to set a sleep timer and off to bed listening to my favourite music knowing it would stop itself and not wake me at 1am again.

Please bring it back up the to do list as a feature!

I'm a Slacker subscriber trying out a 30-day trial of Spotify premium. I would love to move over to Spotify, but I was really surprised to find out that the iOS sleep timer doesn't work with Spotify. Please implement this. I don't even mean an in-app timer. The iOS one works great for other apps like Slacker. Please don't leave this in the backlog! Thank you!

The command below will kill the spotify process at any time you schedule it from Windows task scheduler.

'taskkill /IM spotify.exe /f'
