[All Platforms] Sleep Timer

I am a new user to Spotify from NZ and the first thing I miss having moved from iphone's built in music player is the sleep timer. I understand this feature stopped working in one of the recent versions of spotify App. If it is a compatibility issue partly related to iOS 5, may I suggest that you build a sleep timer into the App itself? 

Also, as suggest by one other Spotify user, Nyx, it would be even better if you could include an alarm featuer so we can all wake up to our favourite playlists within Spotify.

Thanks again for all the great work you guys are doing and we really hope you would consider this new idea.

Update: The issue with sleep timer seems to be working in iOS 8.

This request has been "not right now" for actual years. Just admit that you
aren't going to satisfy your dwindling customer base and are happy just to
go slowly out of business. I'm not the only person to cancel a paying
subscription over this lack of attention to customers.

The lack of a sleep timer and built in alarm (not a lame external app) are the reasons I'm dropping Spotify after my free trial.  This request has been there for YEARS and no action.  The Roku Spotify app also has serious issues that have been around for YEARS and still not fixed. 

BTW, the Pandora app has a sleep timer and alarm built in.  Works well.

I agree, a sleep timer and alarm would be xawesome! I'm using Pandora and I Heart Radio right now, but I want to hear music I like, not what somebody else thinks I'll like! Spotify is the best music app out there, hands down and I want to use it all the time! Thanks for the great job you all do!!! mindikurtz

Can we expand the idea? iOS built in timer is working with spotify, but as far as I know, there is no way to have spotify turn itself off on windows after several hours without shutting down the PC.

Kind of sad to be premium and use a radio app with commercials every night.

I have an older galaxy so I can't even set a timer for music to go off having a sleep timer on the app would help me a lot.

While I perfectly understand that a Company cannot be forced into deveoping a specific  function, it's the lack of communication that piss off people.

Companies shold learn that communicating with the user base it's way more important than anything else.
