[All Platforms] Sleep Timer

I am a new user to Spotify from NZ and the first thing I miss having moved from iphone's built in music player is the sleep timer. I understand this feature stopped working in one of the recent versions of spotify App. If it is a compatibility issue partly related to iOS 5, may I suggest that you build a sleep timer into the App itself? 

Also, as suggest by one other Spotify user, Nyx, it would be even better if you could include an alarm featuer so we can all wake up to our favourite playlists within Spotify.

Thanks again for all the great work you guys are doing and we really hope you would consider this new idea.

Update: The issue with sleep timer seems to be working in iOS 8.

I need it!! I'm going to be honest, right now, that's the only reason I use iHeart Radio is because it has a sleep timer, and I like to fall asleep to music, but I need it to be off before my alarm, or I won't hear the alarm. If Spotify got a sleep timer, the first thing I'd do is quit using iHeart

A sleep timer would be such a fantastic addition I love my Spotify sleep playlist but it then takes me on to similar songs - a feature that I love during the day but not when I'm falling asleep. Please add a sleep timer

The idea of a sleep timer is a great one.  Every other music service offers one.  I just keep thinking why isn't it available on Spotify.

This idea is so useful! Cant't believe it does not already exist! Idea was presented to you five years ago... the sleep timer and alarm options missing present a daily problem with spotify to many users!

Just came to spotify from Napster (or actually Aldi Life music). And 1st thing I really miss is the sleep function after I got used to the handling of the App. To be honest: it is really annoying and I just don't want to install another App, which uses RAM, CPU capacity and showers me with more advertising just to have a function, which should be inside spotify from the beginning. 

Also really shocked that this idea exists sinclair 2012 - 5 years - and is not implemented since.

I agree so much with this Audible has this function and I love it. I would love to see it on spotify

I was between Google play and spotify for a while - settled on spotify, but the puzzling lack of a sleep timer is almost enough to change my mind. Every music player I've used since my first ipod in 2003 has been able to do this - what gives, spotify? Suggesting other apps isn't good enough - I have yet to find one that works for me, probably because I'm casting to a Google home (an increasingly common use case). It's just silly that this simple feature isn't native to the app.
