[All Platforms] Sleep Timer

I am a new user to Spotify from NZ and the first thing I miss having moved from iphone's built in music player is the sleep timer. I understand this feature stopped working in one of the recent versions of spotify App. If it is a compatibility issue partly related to iOS 5, may I suggest that you build a sleep timer into the App itself? 

Also, as suggest by one other Spotify user, Nyx, it would be even better if you could include an alarm featuer so we can all wake up to our favourite playlists within Spotify.

Thanks again for all the great work you guys are doing and we really hope you would consider this new idea.

Update: The issue with sleep timer seems to be working in iOS 8.

Hi, for the Android users i found an app in the playstore that works as sleep timer for Spotify. Name : sleep timer for Spotify

A sleep timer will make all the difference to me, especially if I choose to subscribe after the promotional period.  I love going to sleep with music, but have to pay for data (I know, but I'm just grateful to finally have that thing called Internet here in Vermont in 2018!).  Please add a sleep timer to Android!

Yes please! Falling asleep w/earbuds in the getting WOKE at 3:05 am fron the beep of the ear buds dying is unacceptable when you need to be up for work in the morning (or school or whatever) so  prefer Calm Radio over Spotify for this reason. Please PLEASE ... A sleep timer. I'd never use another player ever again!

Sleep Timer, not sure why Spotify is so resistant to a functional useful feature. At nights, I like to drift off to music or favorite podcast, but not to be aroused later in the night. I am a premium user, maybe it could be an up sell feature to premium accounts.

I just switched from pandora when I upgraded my phone and pandora has a sleep timer that I used nightly. Would love it if Spotify would also have a sleep timer.

I need this for my pad, I go to sleep listening to podcasts so without this feature its useless to me.

I can't wait for you guys to get this up in a working state, its the last thing keeping me from switching from Apple to Android.
