[All Platforms] Sleep Timer

I am a new user to Spotify from NZ and the first thing I miss having moved from iphone's built in music player is the sleep timer. I understand this feature stopped working in one of the recent versions of spotify App. If it is a compatibility issue partly related to iOS 5, may I suggest that you build a sleep timer into the App itself? 

Also, as suggest by one other Spotify user, Nyx, it would be even better if you could include an alarm featuer so we can all wake up to our favourite playlists within Spotify.

Thanks again for all the great work you guys are doing and we really hope you would consider this new idea.

Update: The issue with sleep timer seems to be working in iOS 8.

On the iphone, if you are using and playing music through spotify, go to Clock>Timer and set the time, then where it say's 'When Timer Ends' select 'Stop Playing'.

For a PC, if you want to or already use AutoIt, a scripting software, you can make a simple script such as follows:

Sleep(3600000)
WinActivate ("[CLASS:SpotifyMainWindow]")
WinWaitActive("[CLASS:SpotifyMainWindow]")

Send("{SPACE}")
Exit

 where the # for sleep is the time in milliseconds, in this case one hour is 3600 sec and add 3 0's.

It seems to have been a year since this was first suggested; hopefully Spotify will come up with the update soon! I used Spotify a lot, and will get so much more out of it with the sleto timer and alarm functions!

To be honest the fact that this isn't already a feature bugs me as well I mean heck I even thought about making this an app and submitting it to here myself... But then again about the time I think of it I am on the verge of sleep already and wake up the next morning late to whatever it is I'm doing lol but still joking aside I'd love to see this as an app or feature IT'S A MUST

i would also like this, that way i don't have to worry about my computer being on and up 24/7. i love going to sleep with music, but not at the cost of my computer. besides you guys get more money. people will use it more often

It would also be awesome to make Spotify not stop in the middle of the song when the timer runs out, but to play until the end of the current song and then stop playback.

Glad to see this is under construction. There really is no good alarm clock for android that will play music.

Almost a Year and nothing more than a under consideration? Sorry guys that feature is not rocket science and a knock out requirement. I'll consider another service if that feature is not a part of an update nearby.
