Having a home screen widget for Android would be really nice. All other media players have one on Android so it'd be great to see that in Spotify too. It'd make things so much easier to just be able control to Spotify from your home screen instead of swiping down for the notification bar or opening the app. It's really simple functionality so please can you add it.

Bring back the widget. Use it daily to start playback in the morning and all day play/pause. Removing this is the most REDICULOUS idea ever. I want a refund of my premium subscription because you've degraded my user experience.

All I'm gonna say is, if it ain't broke, don't fix it... The widget is far more convenient for me to access the app than it is for me to find the icon and then I can easily control my music from it, I'm gonna be even more **bleep** if it doesn't come back on the next update and will probably stop using my premium membership... Would be nice to have that extra $11 a month

How many horrible reviews do you need to realize you messed up? Simple thing, fix it and save all these loyal customers from hating you. SO. SIMPLE. Literally zero reason for this to be a topic  I read about on Digital Music News. 

A "Not Right Now Issue" is the lamest answer I've heard. It clearly is a "Right Now Issue", cause you have 57 pages of comments from people you **bleep** off.

They know we're unhappy and they suggest that they're listening. Get the rest of the internet where people are furious about this to come here, too. I know there are at least a few Reddit threads. Organizing our collective dissatisfaction is the best chance we have of getting them to fix it.

Removing this widget is the most baffling and poorly conceived change Spotify has made in my time as a customer. All this has done is made your app less convenient to use, especially on my bike rides. For the love of god, why?

There is no reason why you removed it. It's not like you were updating or improving it anyway. I mean millions of bucks a month ain't enough for you people. Now you are removing things from what I pay for.

Well there is another app called Pandora I can buy and it does the same thing you do. Except they have a widget. Not to mention many new sources for music now than when I started paying for spotify. 

 I do have options. So I will give you one.

 If I dont have my widget back in 30 days I won't care anymore because I will cancel my spotify and move on to a company that cares about thier customers.

F. you Spotify. Widgets are a major feature of Android over iPhone. To degrade the Android experience is totally BS.
