[Android] Rearrange Tracks inside a Playlist

On my iPod I can manually move my songs around that are in my playlist, but I can't do the same on my phone which is what I mostly use. It would be easier to have that option on all devices.

Hey!

The Spotify Community team here.

We're pleased to confirm that this feature should now be available to all Android users.
We'd recommend double-checking that you're running the latest version of Spotify.

Once again, thanks for showing your support here in the Community.

Come on Spotify just add features to rearrange playlist on mobile and more efficiently on PC.

This needs to get done! More and more people are switching to android. I can't believe spotify us not on it. I thought I was going crazy and missing something. Seriously, now considering dropping premium.

Hey, everyone. I have, an addition, to the idea. Check it out, here.

Give me Kudos, on the post, on my comment, or both. Let's make, this happen.

Here's, an example picture, of what it could look, like.

I don't think Spotify requires help in designing the UI to implement this, they
simply lack the WILL! They have made a conscious decision to withhold this
feature on Android. Perhaps the only thing that may cause a rethink is a
significant number of customers moving to Apple Music.

It is also a matter of reusing code since this functionality is already built-in in the App in the Play Queue,  I mean that you already can sort songs on the Queue Play section, so its not an impossible thing to do because in a way it is already done, only thing we need is to make it available on Playlist! (basic basic basic feature of ANY music player)

PLEASE!

We have passed the one-year anniversary of this idea.

Happy Anniversary everyone!

Spotify itself if the problem to many of the issues we all have. They seem to think a play queue we cannot work with is a good thing for them. There is a reason that they won't supply; a reason we have seen no substantial improvements to the interface in a very long time.

Spotify does not owe us an explanation, but it would be nice. I feel that they are afraid we won't take the truth well, and that really worries me...

I no longer expect any major improvements, and I think this community is now merely a way for users to vent off frustration.

There are many well-meaning, talented and creative people in this community offering ideas, and taking time to voice them and comment on them. They care because they love music  They have chosen Spotify as a conduit to get it.  When Spotify needs improvement, but isn't making changes, it means something is standing in the way of what we love, and that cannot turn out well.

We have only two choices; we can ask for changes, and we can leave...

Yes it is very dissapointing there is still nothing happening.

This is a most basic feature that they shouldve implemented from the start.

Come on Spotify.

Over a year since this was raised and still no progress? Come on Spotify, seriously. Time to start spamming their Twitter and Facebook pages!

Actually - that's a good idea; will tweet now... 🙂

That it is available for Apple mobile users makes me more angry that it isn't implemented on Android.
