[Android] Rearrange Tracks inside a Playlist

On my iPod I can manually move my songs around that are in my playlist, but I can't do the same on my phone which is what I mostly use. It would be easier to have that option on all devices.

Everyone, no idea what on earth they're playing at with not introducing this simple feature for so long,
perhaps we should literally ALL try them on twitter in as short a timespan as possible, even if you don't have twitter, make a temp account, maybe if we bombard them enough and get enough attention on it they'll give in or give a more solid explanation why they've ignored they're customers for 3 years!

What I'm doing at the moment and it's good enough for me (for now) is I open spotify on a pc with my account. In the pc software you can change the order of the songs in the playlist by dragging one by one and automatically it synchronizes with you cell phone app and changes the song order there too.

I'm aware, that's really not the point haha but glad that's good enough for
you, no reason they can't add the feature it's pretty basic, and not a
complicated thing to do within an android app

"Building this feature" lol, if this takes your developers more than 15 minutes then they are incompetent and shouldn't be programming. Simple as that

I don't understand why the comment thread got cancelled.  

This is a basic function.  Please just take care of it.  Its very frustrating, because Spotify DOES offer many qualities that you can't find anywhere else.  This just makes Android users feel like they are being taken advantage of.

It' the biggest difference between iOS and Android Spotify and drives me up the wall. Sort it out

I am dipping my toes into Spotify as a current Google Music user.  Being able to move songs around in a playlist is a "no brainer" to me.  In Google Music it is as simple as holding your finger on the track and sliding it up or down to place it.   Spotify is the king of music streaming services,  I am so surprised this wasn't a launch feature years and years ago.  I am more surprised that it doesn't look like this is a feature coming anytime soon.

I can't be the only one on here that enjoys crafting a perfect mix tape.   Please consider making this feature (that your competitors have) more of a priority.
