[Android] Rearrange Tracks inside a Playlist

On my iPod I can manually move my songs around that are in my playlist, but I can't do the same on my phone which is what I mostly use. It would be easier to have that option on all devices.

I'd really like to be able to rearrange my playlist to create the mood I'm going for at my housewarming party...Order flow is so important!

Not only important but ESSENTIAL, any Android app can sort a list, still don't know why we can't. Even a security cam app (TinyCam) can sort the available cams with no hassle 🙂

By the way it is possible to do but very slow. 

You can move a song to the bottom of your playlist by selecting it, adding it to the same playlist confirming you want to do that, then deleting it from its middle position.

Yes, of course this is stupid. youtube is similarly stupid except I can move them to the top as well as to the bottom but not somewhere in between...

HappyDaysinHell,  you are right. I think spotify is really doing it on purpose to promote apple. I am an ex Iphone user. They are good phones but I like android more. the thing we request is something very easy to do for them. I will look for the competitors of spotify tonigth.  if they are not listening to their customers, there is no other option to look for a software which listens to their PAID CUSTOMERS. I really get frusturated from ordering my playlist. I have to use my pc every time for this kind of very SIMPLE FUNCTION!!!

It is almost ridiculous that sorting songs in a playlist is not doable on smartphones.

Total nonsense again. Martina Moberg - Lost And Found came up as unplayable (lucky I don't hide them) so obviously there's a different link to it now as it came up in search. But I can't "swap" it in to where the unplayable one is, which is 3rd on the playlist. I don't want to have to move every other song down to the bottom...

I can't believe this is still an idea. When on the road traveling and driving from work to home you would like to arrange your playlist and plays songs you like. Why the unnecessary creation of another playlist??? I won't risk my life over trying to go back and forth in between songs while driving. This is ridiculous. I'm an android user

please! add a handle for rearanging songs in a playlist. I pay 10 bucks every single month and no single useful feature has been added since my premium time. In terms of features spotify is overwhelming poor related to any other music apps I've used so far. (Google play music, Sony music app, Winamp, vlc)
