[Android] Rearrange Tracks inside a Playlist

On my iPod I can manually move my songs around that are in my playlist, but I can't do the same on my phone which is what I mostly use. It would be easier to have that option on all devices.

I'm sure it's possibly using Spotify Web API to create an app that will be able to perform this feature. Possibly one could create a web-app to do it too.

Although I do have my own program that uses Spotify Web API, that is a new release search program and only does requests, not creations of anything.

I'm a developer too and it is a motivational problem since that
funcionality is already present in the "Queue" (dont know how its called
because my Spotidy is in another language)

So, the hard part of coding is already donde... the harder part of being
convinced that this is what the users wants is yet to be completed 🙂

Two years later and still nothing. I just signed in to premium thinking I would be able to do something as basic as rearrange songs but I guess I'll have to cancel my subscription.

I had posted this over three years ago and you me to tell me this feature hasn't been added? Spotify you guys were suppose to be good and honestly you guys would be better if this feature is added already.

Really shameful. This is something basic for any old, not so good, just starting music app. But one of the currently most used, socially based music service not having something as basic as sorting a playlist I want to share? This is more than dissapointing. 

I've tryied from the browser version with no luck neither. Seems than only iOS and the Desktop apps have this funcionality.

I can create a playlist but not reorder it?

I thought this was supposed to be an industry leading music service! What a joke. Wasted half my train trip trying to work out how to move one song I'd missed into the middle of an ordered playlist. Then I find this thread.

This is an embarrassing and obvious missing feature for Spotify. Not sticking around after my $1 trial period ends.

This Definatley needs adding, such a simple update.. but would make things so much nicer for organising playlists.

It's ridiculous that something so very basic would be missing in the first place, even more so that Spotify has essentially ignored 18 pages, spanning two years, of customer complaint about it.

I was really enjoying Spotify until I came across this little hiccup, assuming (reasonably imo) that I was simply overlooking something. Came here to find out that they've been made aware of this issue but apparently just don't care....

I can't believe you can't do this!!! It's available in ios but not on android? Very annoying as I have just swapped to an android phone!!!

Hello Spotify....come on...years of userfeedback and still not implemented???? Because aliens....what? Mind blown.... EVERY music player has editable playlists...hear our cries! Ok, but please consider making this a high priority.
