[Android] Rearrange Tracks inside a Playlist

On my iPod I can manually move my songs around that are in my playlist, but I can't do the same on my phone which is what I mostly use. It would be easier to have that option on all devices.

Would love to reorder the songs on my playlists, even if I have to do it on my desktop. Why cannot I not do it at all?

Errr, you can. The desktop apps allow this, as does the iOS app. It's only the Android and web apps which don't.

I am a brand new user of Spotify.  I am just trying out the free trial of premium service.  Not being able to reorder playlists on my android phone is a deal breaker for me.  I am a group fitness instructor and I am constantly switching out songs in my playlists.  There is no way that I will pay for the subscription if I cannot reorder my playlists on the fly.

This is not a technical issue.  Every music player has this function.  I suspect this has to do with Spotify's relationship with Apple.  If you don't have an apple phone then you are restricted.  Spotify has to keep Apple happy in order to continue being allowed on their platform.

This is the basic function of any music player. You cannot justify that it's missing in Android app. The abscence of such an essential function on the most used mobile platform is insulting.

Wow...2016 and this does not exist on Android. I dropped Apple Music for Spotify and didn't evn consider this as something that was not possible. I am in awe that Spotify cannot do something that every other music has had for a long time. Amazing....

I will be dropping my Spotify premium and going back to Apple Music.

Really, how is it that we haven't seen this update yet?! Spotify, listen to us! We live in a mobile device dominated world and your competition is too steep not to include this feature! Don't fall behind!

Stop giving me useless updates and give me what we need.

I think a better way to get a response may be to actually bombard support@spotify.com or whatever the e-mail address is, because they clearly take no notice of us here.

Just upgraded to Premium, only to find that it is not possible to re-order tracks in a Playlist in Web Player or in Android app. 

This ability is not optional for me, so I will be cancelling my Premium membership.
