[Android] Rearrange Tracks inside a Playlist

On my iPod I can manually move my songs around that are in my playlist, but I can't do the same on my phone which is what I mostly use. It would be easier to have that option on all devices.

Hey!

The Spotify Community team here.

We're pleased to confirm that this feature should now be available to all Android users.
We'd recommend double-checking that you're running the latest version of Spotify.

Once again, thanks for showing your support here in the Community.

So it's been two years and they still haven't added this feature.

Another "update" on 11 April. Not sure what was updated. This wasn't in it. Waste of my android resources forcing me to "update" for no real purpose.

I seriously hate you for this Spotify. Everything else I love about this service, but the frustration caused by not being allowed to reorder the songs in my playlist makes me hate this service. It's not even possible to reorder tracks on the webplayer anymore (!), at least not for everyone and I happen to one of the unlucky ones.

I looked for another streaming service, but so far none are up to snuff mostly because of a handful of songs missing in their library (if anyone has any suggestions please reply). But I'll keep my eye out, and as soon as something better comes along I'm jumping ship and never looking back.

Are there no Spotify employees using this service and having similar issues? Do they not also complain about the service? Perhaps their disgust can only be whispered  to confidants and sympathizers in shadowy rooms well after their work day is over.

If I worked for Spotify, and had to settle for the poor quality of the interface, I'd be quite embarrassed. Further, I'd be suggesting to management that it needed to be taken seriously.

For some reason, Spotify is happy with what they provide its paying customers.  Either that, or Spotify is just technically inept, or too afraid to change.  Whatever the case, I guess I will just have to be embarrassed for them.

Shame on you Spotify. Specially when that functionality is already built
into the app, check what you can do with the next song to be played, you
already have a list that can be sorted (attached screenshot)

It's really supprising that this hasn't been implemented yet.  Looks like it can be done now in the 'Now playing' list, must be possible.

Can this please be implemented soon? Android users like Spotify just as much as Apple users!

Still no fix! seriously! I may not make it past my first 30 days of premium.

If it's a financial problem why not add this feature at a cost of 50p per month for those who want it?
