[Android] Rearrange Tracks inside a Playlist

On my iPod I can manually move my songs around that are in my playlist, but I can't do the same on my phone which is what I mostly use. It would be easier to have that option on all devices.

I am subscribing to the family plan..But now I find that I am NOT able to organize my downloaded playlist in the order I want.  I'm using my playlist for work and the music needs to be in a specfic order....I think I will not be able to you your app now.  Is this going to be an available function in the near future????

How can Spotify consider this merely a "good idea"? This is an ESSENTIAL FUNCTION. I've had Spotify for years and just switched to an Android phone and am flabbergasted that this is even an issue. This is really disappointing and I'm now considering ending my family account. I primarily make playlists. I have over 125 playlists and now how am I supposed to edit them? On a PC? Or do I now have to carry around my phone AND my iPad everywhere I go? But I'm curious: what do you consider a "great idea"? I'd love to hear what trumps basic functionality.

I can't believe I cant move songs order in playlist in Android app. I thought this must have been limited technology awareness on my end...but it's true. It's crazy that the simplest things do not get implemented.

This is basic functionality guys.  I switched to Spotify because Xbox Music ended support only to discover I can't reorder my Playlist.  What functionality could possibly take precedence over such a basic feature for a music player.

How hard can this be to implement? It's a basic functionality. If you can do it for IOS then why not Android? There are enough requests here for this so let's make it happen Spotify. Or we'll all move to TIDAL which you'll probably merge with in the future anyway.

This needs to happen. I switched from iOS to Android recently and realized I can no longer customize song order. I have been using Spotify for years and am so disappointed in this. As a creative person, reordering my listening experience is one of my top priorities. It want to be able to have that feeling like I'm making a mixed CD so that the user can listen to songs I am suggesting in an order that gives it an almost cinematic experience. Please add this feature for Android so that I can continue to do this on my phone!

Based on the comments in the Google Play Store, the latest release by Spotify has made the Android app even worse, removing the radio tab, making play lists even more unmanageable and even harder to find your albums and lists. Some even say that Spotify Connect was removed. I have not updated because there are so many negative reviews and I am sure still no way to rearrange songs on a playlist on mobile!

Really? This is just a good idea? It was a basic feature on ipod 10 years ago... Someone needs to start a campaign on  this...
