[Android] Rearrange Tracks inside a Playlist

On my iPod I can manually move my songs around that are in my playlist, but I can't do the same on my phone which is what I mostly use. It would be easier to have that option on all devices.

Yes, this is essential but basic feature. Just for reference, I tried use Filter/Order submenu in Andriod Apps but it never working at all..

Spotify team, please consider as followings:

1. Let us sort the songs and permanently save this order in the lists (such as by album/author/singer).

2. Let us drag-and-drop or use similar button to move up/down, in order to rearrange the songs.

Unable to edit playlists in android app is just plain poor. More people have android phones than Iphones so get your act together and appease the masses. We android users DEMAND parity.

It is beyond absurd that we should have to vote to get what should be a standard feature. Fit It!

Why can't we rearrange our songs on our playlists? One would think that this is a feature people would already be able to utilize, whether or not a person is on the web player or the app. Given that this is such a popular app, I find that this is really disappointing. When will we be able to rearrange the songs on our playlists?

So I saw Spotify is at Wall Street stock exchange now. Congratulations. So do you think now that you are amongst the biggest companies in the world you can find an employee capable of giving android users this basic function?

Doesn't really matter for me as I'm happily using Deezer premium. I just find it strange such a fancy company would lack this basic functionality on their app.

Premium user for over 2 years. The only real gripe I have with Spotify is this inability to reorder tracks on your mobile device (android in my case). Is this really a difficult fix to add? Would be a great addition and just make it more user intuitive. Highly frustrating having to log in on desktop to have to do this.

Rearranging playlist order in an app built around playlists would seem pretty fundamental to using the app. This is the same behaviour we witnessed with apple itunes years back. Dominance in the field led to arrogance. Remember not being able to delete an album and having to remove tracks one by one? Eventually customers arent listened to and abandon the platform.

Thankfully Tidal on Android has this feature, and also a richer database of info about the music.
