[Android] Rearrange Tracks inside a Playlist

On my iPod I can manually move my songs around that are in my playlist, but I can't do the same on my phone which is what I mostly use. It would be easier to have that option on all devices.

I know after five years it is hard to believe. I have been in the fight for this for a long time as well. No prank.

Edit play lists only works for your play lists, not Spotify curated or someone elses play list.

Go to one of your play lists, select the overflow menu. "Edit Play List" is now an option. Select this and then you can edit your play list.  Can't seem to post screen shots without an error message. Here is the link to the Google Photo Album with the two screen shots.

You are welcome!  I think I must have downloaded the betas almost daily! First came the voice search. That's good. Then came the user setting to exclude explicit songs - YES! Big win for family plans especially.  But no edit play lists. Yesterday it finally arrived!!  With these features, plus Spotify Connect, Waze integration and integration of a Spotify app for my Gear Fit 2, I am a super happy camper!!  Enjoy people. The battle is over. LOL!

@Katie16 Put "spotify beta" on google, then it will send you to https://www.apkmirror.com/apk/spotify-ltd/spotify/  

I've downloaded the latest beta 8.4.59.760 armV7 dated today 06/20 (and tried the last three before) but still no luck, Spotify is on spanish here and I can't change it from the GUI. Same old menu, no Edit Playlist, I have add songs, make it colaborative, change name, delete, download, playlist radio, share, make it private, add to start and that's it 🙂

Anyone using a language other than english having this problem?

I see that you used Gear Fit 2, could this be related? Anyone else confirming this? 🙂

I'm not using gearfit2, but am using English so perhaps that's the trouble?

Gear Fit 2 is just a Samsung Sports Watch. Has nothing to do with the APK for the Spotify App on my Android phone and the ability to now edit play lists.

English here as well.

@grbsoft Perhaps your problem relates to the area/language, but I am using the English-language version of the beta and I still cannot reorder my playlists.
