[Android] Swipe to Queue a Track

Firstly let me say I have been using Spotify since it launched here in the US and have seen a lot of great improvements over the years. Great job!

I am a music listener who likes to let the current track play out before starting a new one.
I love what you have done on the iOS side with swipe to queue.

Can you show Android some love and put this story in your backlog? 🙂

The fact that we're still waiting on this in 2020 (almost 2021) is borderline depressing... The Spotify experience is much better on Apple devices, yet we get charged the same amount of money for it. I feel very unfairly treated, and hate when companies show this kind of practice. I've been using spotify since launch and have always felt like iOS gets better treatment than android. Stop being so lazy and improve your app, nobody cares about behind the lyrics or genius... We just want to be able to cue songs easily and not go through menus to do it.

I made a community account only to comment and like this post... Please for the love of God prevent me from getting into a car accident and implement this feature. One of the most obvious things I've ever seen an app developer ignore this is embarrassing.

HOW IS THIS NOT IMPLEMENTED? It can't be that hard.

Does Spotify have some kind of deal with Apple to provide a superior experience on iOS? Seems pretty unlikely because Apple would want their users to switch to Apple Music anyway...

But then why, Spotify, why??? This is one of the most requested features, how can this remain on "Not right now" for YEARS?

**bleep** when is this getting added. We really need this feature. It would be so much more effective than pressing the three dots scroll down and press add to queue. 

 

I can't understand how Spotify has put this feature as a not right now thing for 5 years now. This has really big demand and would make the experience so much more enjoyable!

This would be a huge upgrade in user experience and very easy to implement.  Please reconsider this issue!!

Not sure why this idea hasn't been considered seriously yet. The Android community has wanted this feature since 2015...it's 2020 now. I'm happy paying Spotify because I love the accessibility to music but I'd rather lose my phone before I switch to Apple/iOS.

Please please add this feature. It's so helpful on iOS and only makes sense to have the same feature on Android.
