Clear play queue

I have to restart my spotify when I accendently start a song from a search instead of adding it to the queue (happens often to me), would be lovely if there would be a clear button for all the songs added to the queue by spotify it self.

We're happy to announce that we have implemented the Clear queue feature on our mobile app as well.

 

Just open the queue and you should see the Clear all button at the top

Hey folks, you can now find a 'CLEAR' button on the Play Queue in your Spotify Desktop app. 

If using Spotify on your mobile device you can check the songs in 'Up Next' and then select 'REMOVE'.

SEP2014 - I still see no way to clear the queue.  I clicked to start playing a Spotify playlist this morning.  Then changed my mind and started adding some other albums to the queue.   The songs from the Spotify playlist are still there.  Do you get tired of people saying, THAT CAN'T BE THAT HARD TO DO. Give us a button!  Thanks

Every time I go into Spotify online, the Play Queue stays is the same as it was before (in my case the last two tracks on Daughtry's Break the Spell (Deluxe Version)) I've done all kinds of things: played the songs as normal, skip both until the queue is empty, etc. but no matter what I do, those tracks are all queued up. It only happened recently (originally it was a whole Gavin DeGraw album even though I had only one song from it in My Music), so if anyone can help, I'd appreciate it.

@OptimusPhillip: you might want to try and create a new playlist with a custom (silent, short) mp3. You can download blank mp3's from this location: http://www.xamuel.com/blank-mp3s/

Select that playlist as your current playlist and at least you have silence after you've finished your current custom queue.

this function definately will not make me want to pay for a premium plan. please elt me know when this is fixed so I can upgrade afterwards 🙂

This is an insanely stupid feature.  I was really impressed with Spotify as a free service, but as a premium customer I'm beginning to think that it sucks.  I'm using Windows phone and I have found no way to clear the queue, so the disney tracks my daughter added to the queue for now are the only thing I can listen to i.e. every time I select something else the next song is always Disney.  Annoying does not even start to sum that up!

Uninstall and reinstall did it.  Rediculous.

Brand new to Spotify iOs Spent the last half hour thinking I was having some kind of mind lapse, cause I couldn't find the Queue. I can easily add to the elusive Queue but now I'm finding, there's not a way to play it. How is this? I can send songs to chuck in west chuck a F&@k but I can't play a queue that I can add songs to? I MISS MOG!

Oh sorry I didn't see RobHeads solution above. Uninstall and Re-install. I should have figured this out myself. Never mind. Problem solved. Yeah Right. How do you spell Rhapsody.
