Discount Family Subscriptions!

Before I made the switch from Rdio to Spotify they (Rdio) came up with a pricing model that allowed families to purchase a slightly discounted subscription.  

$9.99 for single unlimited user

$17.99 for 2 family members (20% discount)

$22.99 for 3 family members (50% discount)

Would love to see a similar pricing model so the rest of the family could get in on the action!

I'd definitely have 2, possibly 3 subscriptions so my wife and son could have their own spotify if there was some way of having a family membership

Rdio has such an advantage right now with th multiple devices feature. Me and my sister like to alternate payments, and it's really beginning to become a pain having to have music stopped when one or the other plays. Out of respect, the person who is paying that month gets acess no matter what, in order to keep it fair. I would rather, have a multiple device account so this wouldn't happen, and I honestly don't know why there isn't one to begin with. Other than that, Spotify is a great service, but it would be a shame if I had to switch to Rdio for something like this.

to be useful to me, a family subscription needs to be a shared account which can be used (playing music) on more than one device at a time.  just a discount on a pack of N accounts isn't worthwhile.

for me the price isn't the big issue,  but keeping N accounts in sync and having to log on to an account which is currently unused would be too much hassle.  (ok, paying for a full premium account for each and every device would be too expensive 🙂

new created spotify account : premium test for one month.

then i realise i have to pay 4 times (1 for each member of the family).

spotify is definitively a single service !
