Discount Family Subscriptions!

Before I made the switch from Rdio to Spotify they (Rdio) came up with a pricing model that allowed families to purchase a slightly discounted subscription.  

$9.99 for single unlimited user

$17.99 for 2 family members (20% discount)

$22.99 for 3 family members (50% discount)

Would love to see a similar pricing model so the rest of the family could get in on the action!

Come on!!!! Beats, Rhapsody and Rdio all offer a family plan. I switched to Beats for awhile, good service but not great but 3 months for free. Could nto pass it up. That was 3 months Spotify did nto get money from me. If they keep updating the service I will switch back to Beats. $15 for 5 different people and 10 different devices! $10 for 1 user and 3 devices. 

I do not need multiple users but some people do and maybe I would in the future. I NEED multiple devices. At least 2 but 3-4 would be better.

A family account makes sense because my wife and I share an account.   We often listen together at home in the evenings but fight over the account during the day while at work.    I don't want to pay for 2 accounts outright because I wouldn't recieve full value for the second account but I would be willing to pay a bit extra to avoid seeing theSpotify has been paused because your account is being used somewhere else message.

It would be great, if we could signup for a family-account. Otherwise we have to look elsewhere, because 40 EUR for 4 People (2 Adults, 2 Childrens) is way to much.

I would def appreciate saving 20% on the two accounts I have been paying full price for, for about a year now. Almost all companies offer discounts these days. It would be nice... I am considering canceling my account

This is the worst idea in the world!

If they do this then i'm leaving Spotify. My wife and i together pay for Spotify Premium already, we regularly listen to two different things at the same time. She might be cooking listening to something and i might be on the computer listening to something different. I have to ask, when we are already paying for a service that is literally beyond 'ultimate', why should we then pay even more just to listen to two different songs at the same time, if it were CD's we could listen to two different ones, or i-tunes we could do, why do we need to pay even more than the highest package that they already do!? What will it be called? "Infinate" or "Extortionate"? Im sorry both words 'premium' and 'ultimate' are meant to be superlatives for "the best we can offer" yet, the best they can offer will cost us all more!

Why dont they do what Norton did and keep the cost the same and just do a 3 user (device) login. Justcloud online storage do the same, register 3 devices, if you want to then, not backup one device, you can deregister it and move that login to a different device but why we should pay more for the number of people in the family, is this a Big Brother state or what? Are we in China? Only one kid allowed? Why dont Spotify just play a single song stream, with only one line of brainwashing mantra?

If it means paying ANYTHING more than i already do for the 'top package' - Premium, then im a gonner, sorry. I disagree on principal.

Me and my wife would not pay $20 and I am sure this applys to most middle income households.  M wifey doesn't even use spotify but if you added a plan for familys to add a person she would instead of pandora.

Sorry Spotify, but as you know, this is a very sore spot for your users.   I have looked at Beats and other services, but I prefer your platform.

 So, as a loyal customer, I am joining the bandwagon for a family plan.  If other companies can offer it, surely you can as well.  T-Mobile user.
