Discount Family Subscriptions!

Before I made the switch from Rdio to Spotify they (Rdio) came up with a pricing model that allowed families to purchase a slightly discounted subscription.  

$9.99 for single unlimited user

$17.99 for 2 family members (20% discount)

$22.99 for 3 family members (50% discount)

Would love to see a similar pricing model so the rest of the family could get in on the action!

The kids likes spotify, and  listening daily 1-2h  music after and before school, they have the free spotify account now, because i'm not willing to pay the full spotify price for a kid. Children are your tomorrow customers, so it would be nice if you can do something for the families please. Swisscom user,

I am a loyal Spotify user and I believe you guys offer the best service, but now you have to play catch up to all the other streaming services, because you still do not offer a family plan. PLEASE SPOTIFY, WE'VE BEEN ASKING FOR OVER 2 YEARS; OFFER A FAMILY PLAN!!!!!!!!

So is this family plan only for customers of sprint? So say verizon and t-mobile customers wouldn't be able to have this plan to split the music of the account on two devices for me and my girlfriend?

I'm absolutely in favor of something like this kind of an idea.

$9.99 for single unlimited user, $14.99 for 2 family members, $19.99 for 3 family members, $24.99 for 4 family members.

Make Spotify appealing enough for my wife and I to have a shared account, at some reasonably discounted premium (like above) over a single account rate, and we'll drop our Rhapsody membership in a heartbeat.

Lead the way Spotify, don't follow.

Yes - Spotify, PLEASE offer a family plan!   My wife and I, and someday kids, would like to be able to listen to music simultaneously on our devices.  It doesn't seem worth it for us to pay $20 per month for 2 personal accounts when there are so many other music services out there.  Thank You!

I totally agree with this, family subscriptions would be perfect! You could have different users aswell much like Netflix so that each family member can have their own playlists. We have 6 people in our family though so it would be good to go up to 6 people. Please bring the Framlily plan to the uk, it is a great idea and with great pricing!
