Smart shuffle is a fun way to discover new songs, but it comes at a cost. Want to reshuffle your queue? Bam, wait a few seconds longer. Want to unshuffle your playlist? Bam, no longer works, and goes to a completely random place in the playlist.

To me this is an unwanted complication, and I'd much rather be able to choose in the settings menu whether I want to enable the Smart Shuffle feature, or disable it.

If you're not going to repond it a timely manner, your app is in shambles. Mods keep filing increasingly niche posts (mods - thank you) under the same heading. To Stopify (intensional misspelling), it's been over a year. If you're not going to fix it, if your ad revenue is worth the loss of members - please by all means, jam it down our collective throats.

I switched to Deezer 3 months ago & haven't looked back. People will go elsewhere if they have no recourse. 

I keep coming here to check if any positive changes have been made. The answer from Spotify is 'no comment'.

This is now the 16th highest voted idea on their forum, it would be trivial to implement even across the large variety of devices they need to support, and yet it's STILL not been implemented...

Smart Shuffle is obviously the idea of a non music lover. Why would anyone go to the trouble of creating a playlist and then want Spotify to mess it up??? Permanently remove this 'function'.

The problem is that Smart Shuffle keeps turning on without me activating it! I can't get it to stop! This is unacceptable!

The way this feature is implemented is by far the worst UX decission you ever made. And additionally it is so inherently buggy that this is the first time I actually, truly think about caneling our subscription and moving to another service... Please move the function to another button or make the order customizable in settings and to toggle it of permanently.

I don't know why smart shuffle exists. The amount of times i've even clicked to turn it off and it magically goes back to being turned on is insane.

This smart shuffle thing is extremely annoying. Easy to activate (by mistake because I only want the normal shuffle), but harder to deactivate. Move it to the settings ffs...
