Smart shuffle is a fun way to discover new songs, but it comes at a cost. Want to reshuffle your queue? Bam, wait a few seconds longer. Want to unshuffle your playlist? Bam, no longer works, and goes to a completely random place in the playlist.

To me this is an unwanted complication, and I'd much rather be able to choose in the settings menu whether I want to enable the Smart Shuffle feature, or disable it.

I download many of my regular playlists so I don't use my data when I'm listening out and about. If I accidentally turn on/leave on smart shuffle I'm not always in a position (if driving etc) to be able to turn off or cycle past smart shuffle in the menu so I have to keep using data listening to smart shuffle music until I can turn it off.

Please add an option to disable across the app by default 🙏

Yes please, at the very least add an option to disable it entirely. I keep accidentally turning it on and it also adds a load time between switching modes.

Hi,

i really don‘t like SmartShuffle and it is just annoying when i wan‘t to switch between normal playing order and shuffle, because i always have to wait until smart shuffle has loaded it’s songs.

Maybe it is possible to give the opportunity in the app settings to just deactivate it on one device.

FFS Just let me listen to my own playlist. The smart shuffle is making me LOSE MY MIND. I wanna cry and mope in peace and not get interrupted by random unknown songs in between ugh.
