[Social] Bring back Inbox/Messaging with Notifications

The Inbox/Messaging feature did not get a real shot at even being a feature because Spotify took away notifications for new messages. Give Inbox/Messaging some development so users can continue to privately share songs.

I would love to see a simple, barebones chatting feature wehre all you can do is send songs to friends, no messaging, no images nothing else. Simply a back and forth "conversation" where you just share a song and can store all songs shared between you and your friend.

hi how do you interact and text on Spotify because theirs a friend of mine on Spotify  but I haven't been in contact with her for a while so I would like to text her and tell her its me on Spotify

I would really love this, especially cause some of my friends don't have facebook. I would really like to have a friend category next to the artists I follow.

Have you ever been listening to a song and been like I know someone that needs to hear this? There needs to be a simple way to send a song to a friend.  Let the song populate on their screen so they can add it to queue, their library, playlists. Unlike most social media apps, spotify has NO internal messaging making it difficult to send songs. Currently I have to send links via text going outside the app. What's the point of having friends on spotify if I still need to send them links via external messaging service.
