[Social] Bring back Inbox/Messaging with Notifications

The Inbox/Messaging feature did not get a real shot at even being a feature because Spotify took away notifications for new messages. Give Inbox/Messaging some development so users can continue to privately share songs.

I wish Spotify had a chat feature in the app, where we could share and send songs directly to the friends we follow.

Came here to suggest this feature. I think it would pretty amazing if Spotify could add a live chat during “jam sessions”. There should also be a section to write notes about songs on shared playlists. In general, a more social aspect of Spotify would be cool. Personally, I think music is best when it’s a social activity and a shared experience. It only makes sense to add chat and notes features.

This makes sense, seeing how there's already a Jam Session Feature. Why Spotify hasn't implemented it makes none.

Instead of copying and pasting the song your listening to into Snapchat, messages, Instagram, whatever It is to send it to your friends, there should be DMS in the Spotify app itself. This overall would make it more easy and efficient to send songs to your friends who are also on the Spotify app that you follow or they follow you vise versa.

This existed many years ago and it was awesome! You were able to send song and chat via Spotify.
