[Social] Bring back Inbox/Messaging with Notifications

The Inbox/Messaging feature did not get a real shot at even being a feature because Spotify took away notifications for new messages. Give Inbox/Messaging some development so users can continue to privately share songs.

It would take Spotify to a completely new level if we were able to message each other! Honestly, I’d love to see Spotify grow into its own social media platform focused around music. It would be SO cool! Baby steps though, please please please add messaging!

Possibility to share music with friends/followers inside of Spotify, instead of exiting the app and sending via different platforms. 
No chat functionality is needed, only sharing the music and maybe reacting function, that's it.

Since having the ability to add friends and see what your friends are listening to and add their playlists to your library. I have certain friends that I think would like some of the music I listen to. I think the ability to share songs with friends would be great. Not just playlists, like the ability to select a song individually and have the option to send it to someone on your friends list. Yes they can go to your playlists and scroll through 300+ songs but the ability to directly send it to them is better. It would increase the listening potential of new artists and reinforce the whole idea of having friends on spotify. 

How this would be done is selecting a song and simply adding a share to "john doe" friend so you could send it to them and put that song on a "friends recommended playlist" that contains those songs.

I say this because my friends often have to be like "hey  have you heard the new song by so and so and instead of that we could just share songs directly through our friends on spotify instead of needing that interaction to share songs with our friends. When I am just thinking my friends so and so would love this one. That makes use of having friends on spotify and gives some advantage to adding them other than just their playlists and seeing what they are listening to.

Spotify should add a chat feature that lets users send lyrics, songs, and messages to each other directly within the app. Sometimes, when I’m listening to a song, a specific lyric reminds me of someone—I want to send that lyric to them instantly, just like I would in a DM. Or maybe I discover a new song and want to share it with a friend without leaving the app.

This could also be used to connect people who have similar music tastes—Spotify could suggest people based on your top genres or shared favorite songs. Imagine making a friend just because you both have the same favorite sad song.

Plus, we should be able to search for songs by lyrics. Not everyone remembers song titles, but a single line can stay in your head for years. This would make finding songs way easier.

Please add a chat feature! It would let users connect directly, share songs, discuss playlists, and build friendships through music. Right now, Spotify feels one-sided—this would make it social and community-driven. It could increase user engagement and make discovering music even more fun and personal.
