Additional Spotify Profile Customization

I wanted to see something that was different, something more personal to spotify! 

I've used spotify for years, but it wasn't personal enough. Maybe a bio would be nice, and some spots for a favorite featured artist, album, and song. A song blurb section/description would be cool too! I made a mockup/visual representation as well! Used my profile for it!

Hi there!

I really would like to be able to see in an easy way what genres a user likes, next to their profile photo. (Not so interested in user bio or links to websites etc)
Especially when you use a phone, you need to scroll down endlessly to see what kind of playlists a user has…

Maybe you can  make users choose 0 to 15 (?) genre-tags  (like when posting playlists in this community) that show up next to their profile photo.

When offering genre-tags it would be nice if there’s a big choice of specific genre-tags and that users can rearrange them in the order they wish (so that most liked genres show up first).

I did post this a a new idea, but it was categorized as a duplicate of the idea on top of this tread????  😉

Hey!

Your idea was submitted a while ago and unfortunately didn't receive the amount of kudos needed to stay active in the ideas board (100 Kudos per year). 

In order to keep the Ideas Exchange clearer I'll close this idea for now, but this doesn't mean Spotify rejected this idea.

I found an idea, you can see people's profile description. What I meant is you can know about their profile, playlists and more. For example, you can know someone's music taste like Pop, Rap or something like that. But, you can't post about your ages, and anything related to privacy. This feature could be seen on all platforms.

It would be cool to get bios on spotify, not only for just artists but for everyone.  Just to tell stuff about yourself and maybe put some socials on to interact with other people who have the same music taste as you. Or just say what you make playlists for. It would make a lot of people use Spotify a bit more too.

So a suggestion I recently came up with is that in a future update, Spotify should create a description box under the profile or profile name, so users can write a bio or a small description about themselves. If the description box can have an unlimited amount of space to write, that would be awesome! Please please please make this happen!!!
