[All Platforms] Configure Autoplay setting when opening Spotify Links

On Mobile, clicking a Spotify link to a song opens the Spotify app, immediately plays the song and also sets the song/album to be pulled from next. It would be nice if this interaction with links could be configurable to just open the Song page to allow the user to either add to queue or playlist without interrupting their current session. This is the default behavior on Web/Desktop players.

When clicking Spotify links on mobile, Spotify will immediately interrupt the current song and playlist/radio to start the new song with a new playlist. You will lose your current playlist/radio, and there's no easy way of getting back "where you were".

The link should instead highlight the linked song (as done in desktop browser), and let the user choose what to do. E.g. queue the song/album, do nothing, or play the song immediately.

This issue has trained me to never click links, because links means that my listening session will be terminated, and replaced with a new song and a new playlist. Which cannot be undone.

I propose the autoplay mechanism that interrupts the session should be an optional setting. It's preferrable to instead highlight the linked song/album/playlist and let the user choose what to do, after seeing the content of the link.

My friends share songs they like through text. When I click on the link, it disrupts my existing playlist and starts playing this song. Instead, it should take me to the song and allow me to add to the queue/play next. Can we please add this feature?

Please could we have the ability to disable auto-play of songs when clicking on the song URL? I love Spotify because of how easy it is to share music with my friends but if I'm currently listening to something and I want to look at/queue up something someone has sent me, I don't want to interrupt what's currently playing.

Please could you implement something that either allows us to change our auto-play settings or expose a URL variable we could add to external links that would prevent an autoplay when sharing a link?

I guess everyone gets song suggestions from friends on whatsapp. Unfortunaly, if you click on the link the song starts playing right away. Would be nice if it would open the song menu instead. So you could choose if you want to hear it now, set it on the waiting list or else. Thanks for reading have a nice day.
