This is not a new idea, but I haven't found any practical reply to it, so I think it needs to be repeated. I completely agree with Rennestein (screen capture below), we need to stop seeing irrelevant suggestions because it is annoying. Why can't it be possible to decide what we first see when we open Spotify on any device? (playlists, recently played, artists we're following, etc), and enjoy better our Spotify experience?
Please Spotify, let us have the home screen as we'd like. :)) Thank you!

We're setting this idea to 'Not Right Now', as this isn't something we have any immediate plans to implement. If we do have any new info to share, rest assured we'll check back in here with a new status.
 
Update from the 23rd of Feb 2023:
 
A new feature was recently introduced in the mobile app which you may find interesting as it allows users to remove content recommendations from the subfeeds (Music and Podcasts & Shows) of their Home screen, thus expanding upon the current customization options and offering a improved, more personalized experience. You can find more info about it in the Status update here.

Currently, there is no option to clean up your dashboard. Maybe it's only me who doesn't like to see former "mis"clicks, i.e. you started listening to something but for some reason it wasn't the right pick for you. Nevertheless for quite some time you'll be confronted with your wrong choices on your dashboard without any option to delete (or at least hide) the selected media that are now irrelevant or maybe even embarassing. It would be great if some added functionality to allow for this could be added to Spotify's roadmap.

It's the second most popular live idea. How can Spotify with good conscience not implement this?

 

Ah yes, corporations have neither morals nor ethics, which makes it so easy to shift blame. Surely no individual employee can be blamed, right? They are just doing a job.

 

Any "moderator" paid by Spotify, who "moderates" this platform is lying to themselves. You're not doing anything good at all, you're just a smoke screen Spotify can hide behind and do whatever profit-maximising practice the capitalists wanted to implement anyway.

It’s too far past due for being able to curate and delete playlists from your homepage. Just because we listened to it once doesn’t mean that we want to see it ever dang time we open Spotify on CarPlay. Figure it out more than “exclude from taste profile” or having to turn on private mode. Seriously, long over due
