[All Platforms] Organize Liked Songs by genre

Status: Good idea, vote for it

I like the new update where you can save music into the "Liked Songs" group where it sorts music by song, album, and artist. There should also be another filter: Genre. I listen to all different genres but there are times when I want to listen to only one type of music.

I agree! I would love to have the ability to filter my music by genre.

We should be able to browse our music by any mean we should fit. Filtering them (and being able to play ONLY the sorted music) by Genre would be great. Instead of fixed views (by Songs, by Albums, by Artist) there should be more usefull way to arrange and sort music, like old programs did like WinAmp...

 

We should also be able to rate songs inside playlists, don't you think?

 

Spotify keeps creating things that THEY think are usefull but forget to make current users happier with improvements WE want!

I would love for this feature to be implemented. Being able to shuffle play on a specific genre is a huge gap in the Spotify apps functionality.

The last time Spotify responded was 2 years ago. Is there still no way to arrange/view albums in your library by Genre?

please add this, there are times i want to listen my music on suffle but also would like to filter out rap example... would make spotify so much better.

The only think we can do is manually create playlist folders with the genre name, then add the albums to them.

Please implement this! Apple Music has this advantage over Spotify. It is an awesome way to find music within your library!

It would be great to add an option called "Add this artist to your favorites", and add in the menu on the left an item called "Favorite Artists", and when you click on it a page with the favorite artists of the account classified by genre or alphabetically, etc.

I have had Spotify Premium for at least 3 years and, while I absolutely love it, I deter people from spending the money until y'all have implemented a genre filter and/or sort feature. 

Please listen to your faithful users and give us our genres!
