[All Platforms][Other] Spotify Kids Amazon Appstore

The amazon fire we have is mainly used by our 6 year old daughter. She's got her own profile here so she's got related app for her she. Since Spotify Kids was just released it would be ideal to make it available in the Amazon AppStore

Hello,

Welcome. Welcome to the disappointment and frustration we've all
experienced for this very reason.  $16 a month for a "Premium Music
Service" only to find no support for THE MOST POPULAR family of products
for kids.

I really don't know if the issue lays with Spotify or Amazon, but it is
absolutely absurd that Spotify Kids cannot be loaded on Amazon kids
tablets.

I would really like to see this. My kids have the fire tablets and echos in their rooms and would love to be able to play their Spotify kids app on those devices!

I would love to see Spotify Kids available through Amazon. My daughter loves her Spotify app, but unfortunately she can’t use it on her Amazon Fire Tablet. Thanks!

Couldn't agree more with the previous parents who have let their  kids have Spotify on their Amazon kids fire tablet like we do.

Just noticed my 7 year old started listening to adult themed podcasts and watching videos that are not suitable for his age. This is not cool.

I don't really want to purchase any other tablet for my kids. The Amazon fire is a great tablet for kids without us parents worrying about the type of content they are downloading and using. Come on Spotify, release a version for Amazon please, it is not that hard given the large development team you have. Thanks!

Everyone wants it. Just make it happen!

Can we get an update on this please?  Like many of the other comments, my daughter has a Fire and an Echo Dot and we'd like to have her play appropriate music from the Spotify kids app on that device.

And like many other comments, we've been Apple Music subscribers and are looking to switch to Spotify.  If this isn't going to be done, then we might as well cancel Spotify and stick with Apple music.

It's not like you have to create a new app, you already have an Android App, you just need to get it published on the Amazon App Store.  Shouldn't take that long.

Good to see Spotify still listening to their users and bringing solutions in a timely manner. Why is it so hard to get Spotify to make their platform available to children with parental oversight??

Would really like this available on fire tablets. If the issue is Amazon, tell us. We'll all go request it on their side!

Joining the pages and pages of parents here complaining over the past few years.

Seems ridiculous to me that I can use my Spotify family account to give my kids "adult" Spotify accounts on their Kindle Fire tablets but can't give them "kids" accounts that are safe. I don't want them to have access to podcasts for adults or audiobooks that cost money. There hasn't been an alternative suggestion made for the Amazon Fire, such as an option to add child restrictions to a regular account if the kids app itself will never be created.

It's a shame that we are all being blown off with " we will look into it" for the past few years it seems.

We only recently upgraded to the family account with a view to add both children's tablets onto it, but like many others here it is now worthless to us and we will have to downgrade to a join account so that we are not wasting money. Disappointing.

I just signed up for spotify premium thinking this will solve our issues with the kiddos using my account to access inappropriate material. Then I learned that the development of a spotify kids app for Amazon tablets has been officially in the works since June 2021????? 18 months and no updates? I guess I can go ahead and cancel that premium membership.
