[Amazon Echo] Alexa controls via Spotify Connect

There should be a way for any Echo to control a remote spotify connect.

say my speaker that has spotify connect and is playing Elvis. I should be able to use any Echo to change that remote speakers playlist,song,artist etc. The new playlist, song, artist etc will start be playing on that remote spotify connect but controlled by any Echo.

Come on, Spotify - this should be so easy to implement! "Alexa play <playlist, song, artist, 'songs by'> on <device>" - even if some of us need to make our device names a little easier for Alexa to understand, this should be such an easy request to implement. What's the hold up? (For an idea of how to better integrate Spotify and Alexa, check out the amazing work that the team over at Plex has done to build up Alexa's skills to voice command video libraries).

Hey any updates? Are you working on this? Or are you in contact with the Echo developers to make this happen? Is it realistic to see this coming sooner or later? Would be really of interest as this is a big downside on using Echo and Spotify connect speakers at the moment!

Some feedback would be highly appreaciated to know wether it is worth waiting or better to just sell all my spotify connect speakers (4) and my two Echo Dots and switch to Google home and Chromecast instead,
