[Android] Remove the Shuffle / Play Button

Hi, I tried out your new design, which I have mixed feelings about, but nevermind that. The most annoying thing I come over in the new Spotify (for iPhone by the way) is the dumb, big, overlapping, unnecessary shuffle play button that pops up everywhere. Is this a bug or is this on purpose? Could at least had add an option for it. Also, it doesn't look streamlined at all with the current design. Did it even occur that not everyone wants a shuffle play button?

This is what I'm thinking too...there has to be a monetary reason to want users to shuffle the songs.

I recently signed up to spotify premium from Google play music all access to try out what all the fuss was about. all I have found to be superior was the music selection and the ogg vorbis sound quality is better. however, the shuffle button must go. as another person said, it is an insult to the artist who has consciously ordered the album in that specific way, to be played as a whole from start to finish. sure, probably 1 percent of the music listening population listen to albums and eps as they are meant to be listened to. but I'm willing to bet 99% of that 1% are premium users. otherwise, what's the point of paying for premium on demand listening privileges? I cannot fathom who thought this button was a good idea. ok, I totally understand that for free users it's a good concept, click and play, and let the app do the work for you. but I'm not a casual listener! I actually KNOW what I want to listen to! and the shuffle button just leaves me with a sour taste in my mouth. it's repulsive. I thought at first that there should be an option to toggle it within settings if you are a premium user, but to my amazement (or rather, bemusement), there is no such option. what??? on top of questionable design cues, this button is the icing on top of the cake. unbelievable. I'll take my hard earned cash elsewhere. vote with your wallets people. btw, as another use posted, yes, they push the shuffle button on you somewhat dubiously because they make more money that way. certain songs off an album garner more revenue than others and therefore they want you playing those popular songs first. if everyone had on demand listening this wouldn't be possible now would it. absolute joke.

I just thought I was too dumb to find the 'Play' button.  Seems like the most important one there could possibly be in a Music App...

Artists put songs in an order for a reason (or at least they did in my day...)

I second this. Just remove it, or at least make it a shuffle on/off button. It annoys the heck out of me to start fumbling in the settings when I've accidently hit the huge button just to get the darn shuffle off again.

Or at least make it a normal play button rather than a darn shuffle button. Just make it a config option please.

This button is so annoying. How they heck do you just PLAY when you want to play an album or top 50 in the correct order?  This SHUFFLE button is just totally distracting and I cannot find a normal play button, which by rights should be bigger than the shuffle button because PLAY is a more important (can't live with out it) function, yet there is no PLAY button.

It's driving me maaaaaaddddd!!!  I want the shuffle button removed - please, please, please.  How hard can it be to remove it or give the option to hide/display it in the settings at least.  Ideally the option to turn it into a NORMAL PLAY button or completey hide it.
