Auto enable offline mode/offline search when wifi and mobiledata is disabled

I work outside and also often travel, where I don't have wifi or data enabled when I listen to music.

Spotify recoqnises that I'm without a internet connection, but every day I need to manually go into settings and enable and disable Offline mode. When I get home I listen to music on my Sonos system, which Spotify can't connect to in Offline mode.

It would be great if there was an option to enable Offline mode when it detects wifi and data is disabled, or a prompt when it detects there's no internet connection to switch to Offline mode.

an alternative solution would be to change the main search box to Offline search, when no internet connection is detected. This is the main feature I enjoy about Offline mode, since it's such an ingrained habit to use that search box, rather than going into Library, pick Downloaded and the category I want to search in, to do an Offline search.

Hope you'll consider this.

Thank you for switching to offline search when no internet connection is detected.

The offline search feature is really sluggish  now though. When searching for a song I have to wait for some time, while the results update several times (it basically looks like it's updating it in slowmotion rather than real time). If I try to scroll down (fx. to the Playlist results), before it's done updating the results to match my search (in slowmo), I'll get thrown back to the top every time the results are "updated/tick", until it's finished with updating. This is quite frustrating and unexpected UX.

It could seem like (this is a guess) maybe it tries to updates the search results with every keystroke, but the results are updating very slowly, so the results keep updating in slow ticks for some time after I'm done typing.  (I have about 5000 songs downloaded across a lot of playlists if that could be revelant). Typing into and editing my search query is fluid. It's just the search results that seem to keep updating in slowmotion afterwards. After waiting for the results to stop updating (so I can scroll down without being thrown to the top every time the results update again), the results will eventually match my search query.
