[Desktop] Keyboard Hotkey to queue Track(s)

I often browse my playlist and would love to be able to just quickly press something like the Q key to add the selected song(s) to the queue. Now I have to use my mouse again and it gets pretty annoying to quickly add songs to the playqueue.

Would love to have it more work like it did in programs like WinAmp. There you could just press Q to add the song to the queue, select multiple songs and in the playlist queue you could easily rearrange the songs. Now in Spotify it's a little harder to perform these things.

Can't believe this idea is so simple and obvious (suggested 4.5yrs ago, acknowledged by Spotify 2yrs ago), yet still not implemented. Surely this is at most a day for a developer to implement per platform, plus 4hrs testing? Isn't it worth the investment?

Think I'm going to check out Apple Music again. The Spotify UI is starting to feel pretty second rate.

Why is this even a "suggestion"? Most all professional music playing apps have this feature already, and it's not going to bother anybody by adding it!

The "idea" is in limbo since 2012. At the same time any semi-normal application has keyboard shortcut for standard function. But Spotify is above that.

A keyboard shortcut to queue would be so useful.

Still waiting for this. I'd be very happy with a modifier key, so CMD + click on a song adds to queue. Second click removes from queue. Simple, fast, nothing fancy.

Hey @skarnl we've come back to this idea as it's been some time since our last update. We saw this had grown in votes so we brought it to our Desktop teams again. Right now this isn't something we're looking to build (there are other improvements we'd like to make first). We're changing this to 'Not Right Now' but if this gets added to our pipeline then we'll bring this back to 'Good Idea'. Thanks for your continued feedback everyone!

I must say that I'm disappointed.

People ask for years for a small, simple, useful shortcut (not even a feature), that does no harm to anyone or collide with any other feature of the software...

...and it gets dropped to the floor.

I understand and respect your reasons.

I can't stress how big of a change to quality of life this shortcut would be
