Make shuffle shuffle again

There are some songs I never hear anymore because shuffle isn’t truly shuffling my playlist. I’m tired of having the same songs play whenever I press shuffle. It’s convenient, sometimes, that the algorithm adjusts to what I’ve been listening to but i think it should be turned down few notches and do more actual shuffling.

This honestly is the single largest issue i have with spotify. This and the fact that there's no option to turn off "recommended songs for you" after the initial queue when putting an artist on shuffle.

I have the same issue. When I listen to a new song, and it finishes, Spotify recommends songs that I've already heard. It's a highly underrated idea. I hope you have luck, and they take it into account.

This is a standard feature that should always be here. Their random is not truly random at all. They should at least give the option. I have a 18 hour playlist(karaoke songs) that I listen for 1 hour each way to work(2 hours), every workday for the past 2 years and there are songs in there I have never even heard even once.

1. Your "random" sucks, try to make it more random.  This has been working fine for the rest of the world even since before the winamp days, why is this so difficult?  And don't tell me anything about pseudo random numbers and how a computer can never pick a truly random number... the rest of the world has figured out how to get "random" numbers that everyone would agree are "random enough".

2. It seems like only some songs are ever able to be chosen.  This is frustrating when I spend time putting together playlists with hundreds or thousands of songs.  Your library is good, but your interface needs help.

3. Sometimes after listening for a while it seems to get stuck on the same few tracks.

4. When I listen on one device, then pick up on another it mostly works. But when I go back to the first later it will cycle through the same songs I just listened to on device 1.  

Usually when it all goes belly up I have to randomly start the playlist over again to not listen to the same songs again.
