[Music] ASIO Output Support

Please can you add support for an ASIO audio output device?

As a owner of a separate headphone DAC + Amp, I get much better quality music when I'm using the bit-perfect ASIO output rather than DirectSound, which changes the audio bitstream before it reaches the DAC. ASIO output would be a great compliment to the Spotify high-quality streaming.

Thanks!

Wait, what??? Spotify will not let us use external DAC's with ASIO drivers? For whatever reason, it had worked on my old system and old DAC. I recently upgraded to a new laptop and an SSL 2+, and it looks like Spotify is NOT using the SSL ASIO driver; consequently, I get constant blips and pops, and Spotify is unlistenable on my PC. If Spotify will not be allowing us to use our external DACs, then I think this is the end of my Spotify Premium subscription. Today I will look at whether Amazon or Apple offer lossless streaming through DACs with ASIO drivers. I can't believe Spotify dislikes us audiophiles this much.
