Option to remove DJ from Your Library

I recently tried the new DJ feature and, afterwards, the DJ playlist icon appeared in my Library. I did not pin this feature. I also cannot remove said feature. Why does a one-time use turn into permanent residence?

This has been going on forever, get used to it. It's only there to keep us complaining and chatting. Unless I missed the thread, I haven't seen any positive comments regarding DJ. It's fairly simple to ignore once you get the bot to shut up. And even if someone likes the sound and style of the noise it makes, we don't all need to hear it all the time.

A simple off button would leave us looking for something else to whine about. And they would have to create a different way to keep us talking (gripping) among ourselves. This one has become boring.

Solution:

On a PC (possibly on Mac as well) create a playlist folder, move DJ into that folder, delete that folder.
Thanks to the previous post of “StillNoUserName” who cracked this.

I really hate the fact that it's such a big tile on my home screen on my phone.... I'm scared to accidentally press it cause I don't want it to stop my music and some random voice start talking...

I really hate the fact that it's just there and can't remove it

M2, but apparently it's a dead issue, Very few or no comments praising the annoying DJ noise interrupting our enjoyment of Spot. I've never seen the number of complaints, It must be very high. It must have a positive statistical effect on the community chat volume. This is not a democratic organization, $$ and hits are the measure of success.

I mostly avoid the page that includes the DJ Bot tile. I stopped searching for new titles. So my page with favorites is DJ free. It works for me. I wonder If anyone realizes that gap in the bull stuff game?  Mr. Spot must love our participation on the issue. Keep the feedback alive. Positive or negative is good data. Remember to bring back the “Like Hart!”

I have tried removing it several times. It works until it suddenly appears again. Sometimes for a while then surprise “I'm Back.” I'll have to try again, maybe it will stick.

commenting in hopes one more voice makes this possible. I despise the idea of AI choosing what I listen to, furthermore I didn't even want to click on the AI DJ pop-up, now it's stuck in my library. If I could, I would be able to remove fav episodes and files as well, since I've made my library into some-what of a mosaic when it comes to the layout of my playlists, so this just upsets me even more. I am an extremely passionate artists and knowing the first thing I have to see when I open up one of the most beautiful forms of art is an AI feature infuriates me.

I understand someone prefers being entertained, Many of us want to choose what we listen to without interference. Others want choices depending on the circumstances. It would end this chat subject and satisfy many subscribers if the option was easy as pushing a button. Also reduce user participation in this chat room.

Spotify please add a "disable" and "enable" functions for any new features you release on the app such as this rubbish DJ feature. Not everyone wants to be force fed mainstream music for you to improve the stream count of certain artists with majority of people wanting to be in control of the music they listen to.
Thank you.
