[Queue] Queue to Next or Last

Present two options on rightclick, Queue Last and Queue Next. Very easy to implement, and useful.

The way I been using spotty lately is to keep adding to Play Queue, it has gotten really long and sometimes I want to listen to something right now, then I have to add to queue and then move the songs all the way up to the top.

Mediamonkey have had this implemented since long ago. Mediamonkey is btw the best musicorganizer I've ever owned or tried.

Hey there,

Thanks for this submission. We had a slight hiccup with moving ideas to different boards, but it's all good now.

We're setting the status of this one as "not right now", but that doesn't mean that your votes don't count.

Cheers!

Why not right now? This is basic stuff guys.

It's insane that adding to the END of the queue is not an option. It should really be the DEFAULT option too. This missing feature is one of the reasons I'm considering switching to a different platform.

Add a play next button next to the add to queue button. It would be nice to have the ability to put songs at the top of the queue instead of manually swiping it to the top position every time

There should button to add a song to "play next" immediately after the current track.

Though it is already possible to reorder the queue by clicking and dragging, this becomes a huge hassle when there is a very long queue and there's a song I would like to play immediately after the current track. This is especially a problem when I'm in a jam with several people, we already have a very long queue, and then someone wants to play a song directly after the current one. Oftentimes the dragging leads to accidentally clicking on one of the songs on the queue — therefore skipping a portion of the songs.

Sometimes, there's 2 or 3 songs that I would like to add and to play before the rest of the selected songs in the queue. Then I have to drag each of these songs all the way to the top, which often results in glitches or accidental tapping of other songs in the queue.

Additionally, it seems that other streaming platforms such as Apple Music have this "play next" feature. When I searched for "play next button spotify," there were many posts and comments on online forums complaining of the fact that other platforms have this feature while Spotify doesn't, which serves to show that the feature IS worth implementing.

While it is not impossible to drag a song from the bottom of a very lengthy queue to the top, it becomes quite irritating after a few times, and it would certainly be much more user-friendly to implement a "play next" feature.

I want to be able to add a song/album to a queue so that it plays after the album that I am currently listening to. I don't want it to play next in the middle of what I am currently listening to. I don't want to have to add each song to the queue then move it below what I am currently playing.

This is such a basic feature, most of Spotify's competitors have.

Quite a shame Spotify does not have it.

And I assume it wouldn't be a big thing to implement at all.

Like the competitor music app, have the ability to add a song to play next instead of adding it to the end of the queue and then having to reorder (drag) it to the top.

Spotify needs a feature that allows you to add a song to the top of the queue. Make a "Play Next" feature similar to apple music that will allow a song to play next ahead of the other songs already queued.

I feel like a simple "Play Next" option would be great to add either a single song, an album, or a playlist to the top of the current queue.  I think it'd probably only work for paid subscriptions due to how Spotify works.  Have had many instances where friends want to "interrupt" my queue with a song, and if I want to keep my queue and play their song next I have to add to queue and then drag up from the bottom of the queue to place it at the top.  I believe Sonos integrates this and it's super useful.
