Return expanded queue view (not only sidebar) for desktop as it was before and now on web

As mentioned in https://community.spotify.com/t5/Desktop-Mac/Cannot-expand-queue-section-on-Mac-desktop-application/... it would be great to return old and pretty standard view for queue (aka playing now). As having it very limited on sidebar is against existing UX

It honestly feels like with every god damn UI change Spotify makes, it forces it on users rather than simply making it optional and we have to come here and rally to get it changed back to the way it was or at least be given the option to customise it how we are used to it after years of using the platform. CHANGE THE QUEUE BACK AND STOP MESSING WITH A UI THAT HAS WORKED FOR US AND NO ONE COMPLAINED ABOUT.

Spotify needs to bring this feature back yesterday. This is an unneccessarily infuriating change and I'm already deliberating Spotify alternatives.

The "Library" tab/panel already has an expand button, so please also make one so we can expand the queue and see albums/song durations/etc.

If this takes any amount of time it should be reverted or give users the option to use the old layout.
Forcing seemingly unfinished features or new UI like this is a bad habit of Spotify it seems

Agree with the rest of the commenters. Please roll this back or add back in the queue in the middle of the screen. Awful UI.

For some strange reason, backspace still works even though delete doesn't.

Also rather annoying that it doesn't number the tracks in the queue anymore.

Move the queue back to the center of the screen or give the option to move it back, i like to have "Now playing" or "Friend activity" open as well as my current queue so this is not a good change,

If this was done to test out a change, please consider that there has been a strong negative reaction both here and in the referenced Help post -- your customers are crying out to you to abandon this design (I would be curious if you have seen nearly as strong of a positive reaction). The new layout is in no way better than the old, and in fact is quite a bit worse. I'm not going engage in the hyperbole of saying "I'm going to cancel my Spotify subscription", but I will say that we originally switched from Amazon Music to Spotify precisely because Amazon kept "redesigning" the user interface (well, that was one of a few reasons, and no, I'm not making that up). These kinds of changes do nothing but bring confusion at best, and angry (former) customers at worst. As someone who has spent more than 25 years in software development, please believe me when I tell you that "changing things just to change them" is always a bad idea, and usually indicative of a declining product. Leave well enough alone.

The longer this goes unchanged, the more it becomes clear that those in charge of making decisions at Spotify do not use their own product. If they did, they would realize that this is an awful change that helps very few and inconveniences many. This needs to be rolled back until Spotify can come up with a better alternative.

Latest Spotify update 1.2.33.1039 introduced an (in my opinion) terrible feature with queue display in right sidebar.

I do not like or want right sidebar. I avoided "now playing" view by setting small album cover display but now you force me to use this terrible sidebar again, now also for queue.

Do you plan to add option to keep queue in main window on whole screen instead of opening it in side bar?

I often leave Spotify unattended and want to simply look at queue from time to time, during which time I do not need main window.  When I want to browse music I can always close queue and browse. I see no purpose in keeping the queue always open in a sidebar without ability to enlarge it.

I'm totally agree. And also I miss the time of the songs on the queue
