Return expanded queue view (not only sidebar) for desktop as it was before and now on web

As mentioned in https://community.spotify.com/t5/Desktop-Mac/Cannot-expand-queue-section-on-Mac-desktop-application/... it would be great to return old and pretty standard view for queue (aka playing now). As having it very limited on sidebar is against existing UX

I absolutely HATE this new "feature" SO INCREDIBLY MUCH. I just got this update and I couldn't believe it at first. I always have my spotify take up half of my left monitor (or have my monitor in portrait mode), and now I can't have the library expanded in a way so that I can see the names of playlists, and the queue at the same time. I can't state how frustrating it is for the layout to keep shifting around as I open and close the queue now.

Without zooming the app out to a point where I can't read the text anymore, the room it leaves is useless when using the queue, because I can't see all the artist names and what album a song is from anymore.
You can't even see all the song information in this new queue tab. PLEASE revert this or at least make it an option to get the old queue back. It was so useful to have it as a seperate page as you could use mouse4 and 5 to navigate. Now I don't even want to have the queue open anymore, and I used it SO often to reorder songs based on type and length when shuffling.

I already disliked it when they made the library be a fixed min-width when expanded because it meant I couldn't see the date at which a song was added anymore with it open, or who added the song to a playlist. They just keep on ruining my experience with the app, without introducing new and genuinely useful features people seem to want. They just keep altering things that already just worked perfectly fine. If I wasn't this attached to Spotify I would start using other services.

I would REALLY love to know who decided this was a good new feature to push. I can't think of anyone who would let this feature go through in its current state.

Edit: I just found out this meant I can't have friend activity open together with the queue anymore. I have no words.

So now with the newest display, you can't see your queue and what friends are listening to at the same time. Who asked for this or thought this was a good idea? Why would you ever have queue, now playing, and friend activity all on the same tab without any means of showing more than one at a time?

Totally agreed this is some stupid way to update apps, by literally removing the good things and just keep adding new **bleep**. Why can't you just read peoples opinions and add more features instead of removing existing ones. This is the only app I know that actually does this. everyone else just adds new and good features, but Spotify doesn't even give you "update available" it just... does it.

Totally agree. This update clutters the UI and makes it extremely busy - like others have said I use spotify on HALF my desktop and this way it's far too compressed.

I HATE this, ok, give the option, but leave me choose, i use the quee for discover new music, go to the artist or album in one click.

Agreed! I liked how the queue was in the middle and I liked seeing the "Now Playing" beside it.
Now you can only see one and I really want to see both.
They should either revert it or make us choose which goes where.

Whose bright idea was this?? No one asked for this. I only used the main window to keep my queue open. Please, change it back!!

At least give us the option of choice instead of forcing this new UI upon us. The ability to view the queue in full without it being smushed up into a thin sliver on the right side of the screen, missing details such as album name and song length is incredibly dumb.

Why bother letting us mouse over the border and drag it out if its hard limited to a fraction of the window and makes no difference? God forbid we want to see our play queue.

You can't drag items in queue easily anymore

This design error makes the queue process much less user friendly

Please restore queue to the way it was!!!!!!!
